We found our Psalm 18:1 design fitting with Joshua's story; he trusted and asked God for His instructions. Joshua faced many challenges but received his strength from God, simply by having Faith. By doing so, he lead the Israelites to victory and their long awaited Promise Land.
"I am as strong now as I was when Moses sent me on that journey, and I can still travel and fight as well as I could then." Joshua 14:11
Note: logo placement differs from models. Logo will be placed at the bottom of hoodie after the words for more visibility.
Biblical Inspiration:
Named after Joshua, who was Moses' assistant. Joshua was the only person who was allowed to go with Moses part way up the mountain when he received the law.
Before God called Joshua into leadership, he learned how to be an obedient follower.
After the death of Moses and 40 years of wandering in the wilderness, the Lord spoke to Joshua and told him it was time (Joshua 1:2) to enter the land (Canaan), He promised to Moses.
Joshua led with Faith and was an obedient follower to God's every instruction.
There is so much packed into the book of Joshua. The take away we felt called to put in here though, is to remember that people are looking at your life and are patterning theirs after you. On the contrary, we are effected by the people who we model ourselves after.
Nothing about our life is random, or a mistake - like the families we are born into. We sometimes learn things as a follower that God may be asking us to unlearn as a leader. Remember to move with God and be obedient to His instructions. Don't take what you want and leave what you don't. And remember the one who made you. Don't allow those who didn't make you... make you!
